The Lathe In Place

Sherline recommend that you bolt the lathe to a plank and then place this on the work surface when needed. They also recommend the installation of some rubber feet under the board you mount the lathe on to reduce vibration.

Note the DRO on the right, yet to be hooked up and the handles I’ve screwed to each end of the board to assist in lifting. The computer monitor is pushed to the back to allow room for the lathe but I will probably be remove it from the workbench entirely when I finally use the lathe.
