Another shot of the backdrop to show the depth it adds to the scene. I was lucky with the colours, I think they match the scenery very nicely. There is no doubt that this is Australia!
The turntable is a NSWR 7mm scale table made by a local Australian company called Uneek http://www.antonstrains.com.au/Uneek_2.html. I can’t find it listed on the web site.
I found it too but only after I posted that comment. The tt is fully motorised and indexed to stop at one location set at 180 degrees. I imagine you could add more stops if you drilled more holes in the sides of the aluminium pit. The only weak spot is that there’s an electrical gap in the turning mechanism so if you have sound equipped locos they turn themselves off as they turn.
