I have followed your module efforts and room construction with envy for the past several months. I have our builder lined up to wall off one stall of our two car garage and install heat and air so I can enjoy my man cave in my retirement which will commence July 1, 2014 — 3 months but who is counting?
It has been a long time since I had a dedicated railroad space or actually had the time to build a layout or even a decent module. My space will only be 9′ wide and a little over 20′ long. With book case across the one end and an entry space I will wind up with a layout space about 9 x 15 –sufficient for a U shaped Maine On30 “two footer” at the lowest level. With a 10′ ceiling height I may wind up with a totally different railroad at a higher level but first I need to get started.
Anyway, congratulations on all of your progress and your successful outing with Morpeth.

The “cave” looks great. It is great to have comfortable environment to work in.
