4811 works the sidings at Queens Wharf in preparation for departure. This NSWR 48 class loco was my first attempt at scratch building in 7mm, and it is now about 8 years old. It was built around an Atlas loco chassis and is almost entirely constructed from styrene. It has long been the mainstay of my O-scale modelling as it was the only loco I owned for quite a number of years. 4811 pre-dates the Bergs/O-Aust kit of the same class by a number of years. I’m still very proud of her although I’m conscious of her many flaws.
